- Tool connectors — live systems the agent reads and acts on: Shopify, Xero, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, GitHub, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Asana, Dropbox, Atlassian, and more.
- Database connectors — query-through access to a database you run, with read-only verification before the agent can query without approval.
- Data syncs — scheduled pulls that land data from a source into your organization’s queryable tables (managed from the Automations page).
Connecting
From the Connectors page, pick a provider and connect. OAuth providers walk you through the provider’s own consent screen — Fieldwork receives only the scopes you approve. Some providers support multiple resources under one authorization: connect several Xero organisations, for example, and pick which one a conversation works against.Secrets never travel through chat. Where a connector needs a credential (an API key, a database password), you enter it in a write-only form on the Connectors page. The agent can ask you to connect something; it can never see or transmit the credential itself.
